Acute Coronary Syndrome The purpose of this clinical research study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication for patients experiencing acute coronary syndrome within 7 days. The objective of the clinical research study is to determine if the investigational medication is superior to placebo for preventing cardiovascular death, myocardial infarction, or ischemic stroke in participants with a recent acute coronary syndrome (ACS).
